Freedom Church is a Christian church in Gosport for the whole community. We are a place for families, individuals, children, young people, older people, long-time Christians, new believers, people exploring faith, and those who are not sure what they believe.
We want to be a church where people feel welcomed, listened to and cared for. We believe Jesus Christ brings hope, healing, forgiveness and purpose, and we want to help people discover what following Him can mean in real life.
Whether you are looking for spiritual nourishment, trying to understand the Bible, returning to church after time away, or simply wondering whether God is real, you are welcome to join us.

Our story
Freedom Church was formerly known as Brockhurst Baptist Church and has been based in Elson, Gosport since 1935. Over the years, the church and building have served the local area in many different ways — as a place of worship, community, learning, celebration and support.
Today, Freedom Church continues that calling with a renewed heart for Gosport: to follow Jesus, love people, serve the community and help lives be transformed.
What to expect
When you visit Freedom Church, you can expect a warm welcome, friendly people, worship, prayer, a Bible-based message, refreshments and space to ask questions. You do not have to dress a certain way. You do not have to pretend. You do not have to have everything sorted. Come as you are.
